BY MARK SMITH  |  The foothills of western New York are home to the Peek’n Peak Resort and Conference Center which will be hosting the 2016 AGLOW Annual Conference. Contained within the resort are numerous restaurants, banquet halls and meeting spaces. Also located there are two 18 hole championship golf courses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, hot tub, an aerial adventure course, giant ziplines and the Serenity Spa by Aveda. The guest rooms are spacious, comfortable and recently updated. The grounds are beautiful and offer an abundance of outdoor space for our use during the conference. The ride times to the off-site activities have changed little or not at all. The shuttle ride to the range for shooting day is the same or a little shorter. The ride to Tuesday Evening Away dinner at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute and the Thursday Morning Afield activities have been extended by 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the destination. Andrew Nixon and Craig Robbins with the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau and Kim Kantola and her team at Peek’n Peak Resort have made this necessary change of venue seamless and smooth.
